I took a quick look when I had some time, and I have a few questions and concerns.
From the Worker and some other organizations in Europe and the US, it seems they hold Gonzalo in very high regard. One of the articles even says he is the teacher of teachers, the giant among giants. Why is that? We recognize Gonzalo as a proletarian revolutionary, and the association has previously translated and reposted his iron cage speech.
But why do some organizations in Europe and the US give him such high评价? What are these judgments based on, are they scientific? Some of the claims almost make Gonzalo out to be the sixth mentor.
In addition, this passage in the article should, when discussing the Iran issue, say:
Iran is not part of the Arab world, and although it controls more coast in the Persian Gulf than any other it is not considered a “gulf state”. It has invaded no one, but even if it did we would still support it. We must first make recognition that more than any other forces the Islamic Republic of Iran has made the slogan “Yankees out of the Middle East” a reality. Ali Khamenei is a martyr in the just war of resistance to US imperialism, this above all else. Mojtaba Khamenei leads a just war of resistance. It is not productive to condemn the Iranian state, nor its leaders; to do so would serve imperialism and reinforce the domination of imperialism. This expresses why we openly support Khamenei and Iran. Is that clear?

US imperialism is of course reactionary, and US aggression against Iran is also reactionary. In the US-Israeli aggression against Iran that began in March, the main contradiction is also aggression versus anti-aggression. Of course, we should oppose the US imperialist war of aggression against Iran and unite with all social strata willing to oppose aggression. But this absolutely cannot be separated from the nature of the Iranian regime itself. The Iranian state is extremely rotten and reactionary; in last year’s crackdown it killed more than a thousand protesters. Its government may also have hawks, but that cannot change its nature as a ruling class. They are not even a national bourgeoisie. Because the Iranian state is also subordinate to the Sino-Russian imperialist bloc, and its ruling class itself is comprador. To call Khamenei a martyr here, I think, is completely inappropriate.
During the New Democratic Revolution, Chairman Mao proposed the three magic weapons: armed struggle, party building, and the united front. In anti-aggression wars in semi-colonial, semi-feudal countries, we should also strengthen the party’s leadership within the united front and not lose initiative. That is, we should analyze the enemy and ourselves from the class standpoint of the working masses in Iran and formulate policies accordingly, making use of contradictions among the enemy. But we cannot lose class analysis or vigilance toward different class factions within the united front.
